RouteStack — Custom CRM Portal for a Logistics Firm

The Challenge

A mid-size logistics firm managing 200+ client accounts was running their sales pipeline in a generic CRM, dispatch scheduling in a separate spreadsheet, and client communications through shared inboxes. Their account managers were spending up to four hours a day switching between systems and manually reconciling data. They needed a single, custom web application that unified client management, quote generation, and shipment tracking — built around their specific workflows, not a generic SaaS template.

Our Solution

We delivered RouteStack as an end-to-end custom web application built on Next.js and TypeScript with a PostgreSQL database. The portal unified their client pipeline, automated quote-to-invoice workflows, and integrated with two third-party shipping APIs for live tracking. We designed it around their existing processes — the account managers helped shape the UX in weekly demos during our agile development process. The entire engagement was scoped and priced before a single line was written, with phased delivery across twelve weeks. Post-launch, we provided a three-month support retainer for bug fixes and feature iteration.
